Our alcohol and food tour will introduce to you local drinking culture. We`ll drink vodka and eat typical dishes while drinking. We`ll stay at local home. This tour is non-veg (eggs, meat), but could be customized for Veg.
Safety:
Tour designer for men and women, group of locals (2-5 people) will be also made from both males and females. Not everyone in group speaks English fluently, but main guide speaks fluently. After drinking we can order you taxi (not included in tour) and make sure you reach home. Main rules are:
+ not to drink on empty stomach (we`ll provide food and make sure you drink right way)
+ not to take medicine before and after drinking.
+ if you mix drinks, then drink from low % alcohol to more %, not lower (not to get headache)
Tour could be combined with "Food Tour" in the center of Saint-Petersburg and go with cheaper price.
Menu:
We`ll try vodka (one or several types as will be adviced by locals)
and "Zakuski" - Russian snacks, such as:
pickled cucumbers and tomatoes;
pickled herring;
breads with salo and potatos;
Russian aspic "Kholodets";
"Olivie" salad;
"Herring in a fur coat" salad;
additional "zakuski" depends on what you didn`t try yet from main Russian food, such as:
Russian pancakes;
a bit similar to dumplings "pierogi" with various fillings (also find difference between "pierogi", "varenyky" and "pirozhki");
"Tula gingerbread" a famous sweet from Tula city
For drinks we`ll also try beverage commonly made from rye bread, "kvass" (could be considered in other countries as beer, up to 2% alcohol).
